The QST 94 in the lilac colourway. 94 mm underfoot is the width most people should be on if they own one pair of skis: wide enough to float when the snow is soft, narrow enough that a full day on groomers is not a chore, and stiff enough underfoot to hold an edge when the hill turns to hardpack in the afternoon.

The QST is Salomon's freeride line, so it is built to be driven rather than steered — it settles down the harder you push it, which is the opposite of how a soft do-everything ski behaves at speed.

Stocked in 156 cm only in this colourway. This is a flat ski: bindings are not included, which lets you pick the brake width and DIN range to suit you rather than accepting whatever a system ski comes with. Budget for a mount.
