Ajusteurs BorderlineOur Find my length tool starts from your height: intermediates about 8 cm under their height; plus 4 cm if you're heavier than most people your height, minus 4 if lighter. Example: an intermediate skier 160 cm tall gets about 152 cm, so the 154. We carry 146 and 154 cm.
It's for developing, intermediate skiers. Elan built it to help developing skiers explore more terrain with less effort, and calls it a stable, supportive, easy-riding ski with a smooth feel.
Groomed runs first. Elan calls it a ski for groomed terrain, from carving fresh corduroy to cruising tracked-out snow. Its 76–77 mm waist is in the 66–80 mm range we suggest for mostly groomed Ontario runs.
Its build helps: a titanal (metal) layer over a Dual Woodcore, plus Elan's RST racing sidewall. Elan says that gives steady edge grip and reliable stability as speeds increase.

Questions
Posées en magasin, réponses de nos ajusteurs
What length should I get?
Our Find my length tool starts from your height: intermediates about 8 cm under their height; plus 4 cm if you're heavier than most people your height, minus 4 if lighter. Example: an intermediate skier 160 cm tall gets about 152 cm, so the 154. We carry 146 and 154 cm.
Is this ski right for my level?
It's for developing, intermediate skiers. Elan built it to help developing skiers explore more terrain with less effort, and calls it a stable, supportive, easy-riding ski with a smooth feel.
Is it for groomers, all-mountain or powder?
Groomed runs first. Elan calls it a ski for groomed terrain, from carving fresh corduroy to cruising tracked-out snow. Its 76–77 mm waist is in the 66–80 mm range we suggest for mostly groomed Ontario runs.
Will it hold an edge on icy Ontario groomers?
Its build helps: a titanal (metal) layer over a Dual Woodcore, plus Elan's RST racing sidewall. Elan says that gives steady edge grip and reliable stability as speeds increase.
Does it come with bindings?
Yes. It's sold as a set with Elan's EL 9.0 GW binding in black / purple (DIN 2.5–9, 78 mm brake) on Elan's Shift X system.
Will my boots fit the bindings? What does GW mean?
The EL 9.0 GW takes standard alpine and GripWalk boot soles. GW means GripWalk: a rockered, rubber-treaded sole that makes walking easier.
What's its turn radius?
The turn radius is 12.5 m at 146 cm and 13.6 m at 154 cm.
What do 78, Ti and EL 9.0 mean?
78 is close to the waist width: our 146 and 154 cm are 76–77 mm underfoot. Ti means a titanal (metal) layer, which Elan adds for power and response. EL 9.0 GW is the binding, with DIN up to 9; GW means it takes GripWalk soles.
Is it a women's ski?
Yes. Elan makes the Wildcat as its women's all-resort line; the men's line is the Wingman. Anyone can ski it if one of our lengths (146 or 154 cm) fits.
Do you mount the bindings? Do I need to bring my boots?
Yes, free and the same day at Richmond Hill and Ottawa. We set the bindings to your boots, so bring yours or buy boots with the skis; you check and sign off on the setup in store. Skis we ship go out unmounted.
Does it have rocker or camber?
It has Elan's Early Rise Rocker: a gently raised tip that Elan says makes turns smooth and effortless.
What warranty does it have?
Elan gives a 2-year warranty on this ski. If something goes wrong, contact us with your order details.
