A cushioned trail-running shoe for long days on dirt, gravel, roots and rock. The Kailas FUGA EX 330 puts a supercritical-foam midsole, 39 mm under the heel and 34 mm under the forefoot for a 5 mm drop, on a Vibram Megagrip outsole with 4 mm lugs laid out in five zones. The XDIMESH mesh upper is built to breathe on warm runs, Kailas's AWS 3.0 two-section lacing lets you lock down the midfoot for descents without squeezing your toes, and a gaiter holder takes a trail gaiter to keep grit out. There is no waterproof membrane: the upper lets water drain out rather than keeping it out.
Sizing: sizes are EU, with Kailas's UK and US equivalents in the chart below. Kailas's method: measure your longer foot from heel to longest toe, add 3 to 5 mm for toe room, then find that length in the chart. Kailas cuts its running shoes to a snug, performance fit and recommends a half to a full size above your casual shoes. We stock whole sizes only, so if you fall between two, take the larger.
