No. The XDIMESH mesh upper has no membrane, so it breathes and lets water drain out rather than keeping it out. For cold, wet or slushy runs, look at the Kailas FUGA EX 3 GTX, which has a GORE-TEX waterproof lining.

A cushioned trail-running shoe for long days on dirt, gravel, roots and rock. The Kailas FUGA EX 330 puts a supercritical-foam midsole, 39 mm under the heel and 34 mm under the forefoot for a 5 mm drop, on a Vibram Megagrip outsole with 4 mm lugs laid out in five zones. The XDIMESH mesh upper is built to breathe on warm runs, Kailas's AWS 3.0 two-section lacing lets you lock down the midfoot for descents without squeezing your toes, and a gaiter holder takes a trail gaiter to keep grit out. There is no waterproof membrane: the upper lets water drain out rather than keeping it out.

How does the AWS 3.0 lacing work?
The laces run in two sections that you tighten separately. The lower one sets how much room your toes and forefoot get; the upper one wraps the midfoot so your foot does not slide forward on descents, which Kailas says helps prevent black toenails. Tuck the loose ends into the pocket on the tongue.
Can I pick them up in store, and can I return them?
