À propos
Nitecore EDC35 Flashlight (2026)
A 5,000-lumen pocket flashlight with a 550 m throw and a built-in 6,000 mAh battery: a few hundred lumens for hours around camp, and a burst that reaches the far shore or the noise in the trees when you need it.
Key facts
- UHi 40 MAX LED, up to 5,000 lumens, 550 m maximum throw
- Built-in 6,000 mAh 21700 lithium battery, USB-C charging
- Up to 90 hours on the lowest level
- Four brightness levels plus SEARCH and LUMIN SHIELD modes
- Aluminum body, 171 g with battery, pocket clip
Why this one
- Twice the output and battery of a normal EDC light, still jacket-pocket size.
- Real throw: 550 m is a searchlight, not a camp lantern.
- No spare cells to carry; charge it like a phone.
Good to know
Turbo is for seconds, not for reading. Everyday carry and camp chores: the smaller EDC23. Searching a shoreline at night: this.

Questions
Posées en magasin, réponses de nos ajusteurs
Do I need 5,000 lumens?
Not all evening. You run it at a few hundred lumens for hours and hit the 5,000-lumen burst when you need to see the far shore or the noise in the trees, up to 550 m out.
How is it powered?
A built-in 6,000 mAh 21700 lithium battery, charged over USB-C. Up to 90 hours on the lowest level.
How big is it?
171 g with battery, a jacket-pocket light with a pocket clip.
What are LUMIN SHIELD and SEARCH?
The two special modes that sit above the four normal brightness levels. The normal levels are what you run for hours around camp; the full 5,000-lumen, 550 m output is for seconds, not for reading.
How does it compare with the EDC23 and with a headlamp?
The EDC23 is the slim pocket version: 2,500 lumens, 280 m, 101 g. The EDC35 doubles the output and carries a much bigger battery for search and camp-perimeter use. A headlamp keeps your hands free; a light like this is what you grab when something goes bump.
