Blackboard
The Nobaday Blackboard is a quick-entry snowboard boot with a medium-soft flex, built on Nobaday's new NBDBST01 last. An ATOP dial tightens the steel-cable lacing with one hand, and the forgiving flex makes it an easy boot for beginner and progressing riders. This listing is Lilac Purple, a women's colourway that Nobaday makes in 230 to 245 mm (EU 36–39).
Construction
- Upper — synthetic leather (PU) and waterproof textile
- Toe — injection-moulded TPU toe cap for abrasion resistance and extra water protection
- Heel — rubber reinforcement at the back of the boot for grip and hold
- Tongue — 3D-shaped tongue that helps keep rain and snow out
- Liner — PROTO LINER inner boot, soft and warm
- Midsole — EVA, for cushioning and rebound
- Outsole — rubber with an organic anti-slip tread pattern
Fit and closure
- Closure — ATOP dial with steel-cable laces: turn clockwise to tighten, counter-clockwise to release
- Lace guides — hold the cable in place along the instep
- Flex — medium-soft, with a gentle, forgiving response
- Riding style — listed by Nobaday as a freestyle boot
Sizing
Sizes are listed by inside length in millimetres, following Nobaday's size chart. Start from your everyday shoe size: with the boot tightened and your knees bent in a riding stance, your toes should just reach the front of the boot. The liner gives a little after a few days of riding.
