Is this one pole or a pair?

One pole per order. Most hikers use two; add two to the cart for a pair.

Which length?

57–120 cm for people 150 to 170 cm tall; 62–135 cm for 170 to 190 cm. Set the grip so your elbow is at 90° on the flat.

Why carbon?

159 g per pole (169 g for the 62–135 cm length) in 3K carbon, with quick external locks, an EVA grip and a tungsten-steel tip. Lighter than aluminum, but carbon cracks rather than bends under a sideways load, so do not use it as a lever.

How does it compare with the Far Wind pair?

Same carbon and tip quality. This one is sold singly in five colours, so you can buy one for balance or two in different lengths; the Far Wind is a plain matched pair in one box.
