The Brigade is Salomon's take on a helmet that does not announce itself: a low-profile shell, EPS4D impact foam, and none of the vents-and-vents styling that makes most snow helmets look like equipment. This is the Round Fit shell, shaped for heads that are rounder front-to-back — if a standard helmet presses at your forehead and temples while leaving gaps at the sides, this is the shape that fixes it.
The goggle retainer folds away when you are not using it, so you can wear goggles under the shell rather than strapped over it. The liner comes out for washing, which matters more than it sounds by March.
