Description

Features

A pop-up hub tent for two to four people who drive to the site and want the tent standing in minutes. The included 400 × 300 cm canopy adds a shaded porch for the table, chairs and muddy shoes.

Key facts

  • Floor 240 × 240 cm, peak height 175 cm
  • 4 doors with mesh, 3-season
  • 210T polyester fly, 2,000 mm floor
  • Canopy 400 × 300 cm with its own poles
  • 8.5 kg, packed 100 × 21 × 22 cm

Why this one

  • Hub frame: one adult pitches it in minutes, no pole threading.
  • The porch canopy is included; most dome tents sell it separately.
  • Four doors, so nobody climbs over anyone at night.

Good to know

Made for sunny days and showers. In strong wind or all-night heavy rain, guy it out fully and expect some seepage at the seams. Four sleeping pads fit side by side with no room to spare; two or three people plus gear is the comfortable number.

FAQ

Questions & answers

How long does it take to set up, and can one person do it?

It is a hub tent: unfold, push the centre up until it clicks, peg the four corners. One adult can have it standing in a few minutes; the canopy poles take another few minutes and are easier with two people.

Does it really sleep four?

The floor is 240 × 240 cm. Four sleeping pads fit side by side with no room left for bags; two or three people plus gear is the comfortable number. Peak height is 175 cm, so most adults crouch, not stand.

How does it handle rain and wind?

The fly is 210T polyester rated 1,500 mm and the floor 2,000 mm, which covers showers. It is not a storm tent: in strong wind or sustained heavy rain, guy it out fully and expect some seepage at the seams.

What is the canopy for?

The 400 × 300 cm canopy stretches off the front door on its own poles and gives you a shaded porch for the table, chairs and muddy shoes. Drop it when the wind picks up.

How does it compare with a regular dome tent of the same size?

A regular 4-person dome makes you thread poles through sleeves; this one pops up from a hub, so setup is minutes and one person is enough. You also get the porch canopy included, which most domes sell separately. The trade-off is weight: at 8.5 kg and a 100 cm-long bag it is a car-camping tent, not a backpacking one.
