A two-person double-wall backpacking tent at 1.44 kg: aluminum poles, ripstop nylon, a mesh inner and a vestibule for packs. The tent for people who carry it, not drive it.
Pitch it taut so the fly never touches the inner, and leave a vent open. If the tent rides in a car, a heavier tent will serve you as well for less.

FAQ
1.44 kg for the tent, fly and poles; about 1.85 kg with stakes and the bag. Packed Ø13 × 40 cm, so it goes inside a 40 L pack.
Two sleeping pads side by side inside, packs under the vestibule. 110 cm peak height: sit up, do not stand.
2,000 mm ripstop nylon fly, 3,000 mm floor, taped seams. Fine for shoulder-season rain; pitch it taut so the fly does not touch the inner.
The inner is mostly mesh and the fly has vents; leave a vent open and condensation stays down. Every small tent condenses if sealed up on a cold night.
Half the weight, a third of the packed size, and aluminum poles instead of fibreglass. If you carry your tent on your back or in a kayak, that is the whole difference; if it rides in a car, a heavier tent will serve you as well.
