Questions fréquentes
Ajusteurs BorderlineOur Find my length tool starts from your height: beginners about 15 cm under their height and advanced skiers about 3 cm under; plus 4 cm if you're heavier than most people your height, minus 4 if lighter. Example: a beginner skier 175 cm tall gets about 160 cm, so the 162. We carry 162 and 171 cm.
Atomic rates it for beginner to advanced skiers, not experts, and calls it highly stable and easy to maneuver.
All-mountain: Atomic says it handles every snow condition, groomers to powder, on and off piste. At 84 mm it's wider than the 66–80 mm we suggest for mostly groomed Ontario runs.
Atomic says its Dura Cap sidewall gives rock-solid edge grip on hard snow and icy surfaces, and a Titanal layer (TI Stabilizer) under the core adds vibration damping.
À propos
Maverick 84 + M 10 GW
The all-mountain workhorse of the range at 83.5mm underfoot: enough width to handle the soft stuff on the sides of the run, narrow enough that the groomer laps back to the lift are not a compromise.

Questions
Posées en magasin, réponses de nos ajusteurs
What length should I get?
Our Find my length tool starts from your height: beginners about 15 cm under their height and advanced skiers about 3 cm under; plus 4 cm if you're heavier than most people your height, minus 4 if lighter. Example: a beginner skier 175 cm tall gets about 160 cm, so the 162. We carry 162 and 171 cm.
Is this ski right for my level?
Atomic rates it for beginner to advanced skiers, not experts, and calls it highly stable and easy to maneuver.
Is it for groomers, all-mountain or powder?
All-mountain: Atomic says it handles every snow condition, groomers to powder, on and off piste. At 84 mm it's wider than the 66–80 mm we suggest for mostly groomed Ontario runs.
Will it hold an edge on icy Ontario groomers?
Atomic says its Dura Cap sidewall gives rock-solid edge grip on hard snow and icy surfaces, and a Titanal layer (TI Stabilizer) under the core adds vibration damping.
Does it come with bindings?
Yes. It comes with Atomic's M 10 GW binding (max DIN 10) on Atomic's Leisure Trak L system rail. Atomic calls the M 10 GW a simple, do-it-all binding with a consistent feel on or off the piste.
Will my boots fit the bindings? What does GW mean?
It takes standard adult alpine boots, and Atomic says the M 10 GW is easy to click into with GripWalk boots. GW means GripWalk: a rockered, rubber-treaded sole that makes walking easier.
What's its turn radius?
The turn radius is 15 m at 162 cm and 16 m at 171 cm.
What do Maverick and 84 mean?
Maverick is Atomic's all-mountain line and 84 is the waist width in mm (84 at 162 cm, 84.5 at 171 cm). M 10 GW is the binding, and GW means it takes GripWalk boot soles.
Is it a men's or women's ski?
It's a unisex ski: Atomic lists it as unisex, so pick by length. We carry 162 and 171 cm.
Do you mount the bindings? Do I need to bring my boots?
Yes, free and the same day at Richmond Hill and Ottawa. We set the bindings to your boots, so bring yours or buy boots with the skis; you check and sign off on the setup in store. Skis we ship go out unmounted.
Does it have rocker or camber?
Atomic's All Mountain Rocker (15/75/10): an early-rise tip and tail with camber underfoot, for on and off piste. Its Directional Shape keeps tail rocker minimal for more edge contact and grip.
What warranty does it have?
Atomic gives a 2-year warranty on this ski. If something goes wrong, contact us with your order details.
