Questions fréquentes
Ajusteurs BorderlineOur Find my length tool starts from your height: beginners about 15 cm under their height and advanced skiers about 3 cm under; plus 4 cm if you're heavier than most people your height, minus 4 if lighter; minus 3 more if you mostly carve. Example: a beginner skier 160 cm tall gets about 145 cm, so the 147. We carry 147 and 154 cm.
Atomic rates it for beginner to advanced skiers, not experts, and calls it the place to start if you want a performance piste ski.
Groomed runs in any conditions: Atomic says firm morning groomers are just as fun on it as tracked-out afternoon slush. Its 75–75.5 mm waist is in the 66–80 mm range we suggest for mostly groomed Ontario runs.
Yes, for its level. Full camber (Active Camber) grips on icy slopes, and Atomic says its Titanal laminate (TI Powered), Dura Cap sidewall and wood core make it smooth and stable.
À propos
Redster Q5 + M 10 GW
The Q series is the Redster shape softened for everyday piste skiing: you get the race family's edge grip without the stiffness that only pays off at race speed. A 75mm waist keeps it quick edge to edge, and a 12.7m–16m radius means it will hold a long arc when you open it up.

Questions
Posées en magasin, réponses de nos ajusteurs
What length should I get?
Our Find my length tool starts from your height: beginners about 15 cm under their height and advanced skiers about 3 cm under; plus 4 cm if you're heavier than most people your height, minus 4 if lighter; minus 3 more if you mostly carve. Example: a beginner skier 160 cm tall gets about 145 cm, so the 147. We carry 147 and 154 cm.
Is this ski right for my level?
Atomic rates it for beginner to advanced skiers, not experts, and calls it the place to start if you want a performance piste ski.
Is it for groomers, all-mountain or powder?
Groomed runs in any conditions: Atomic says firm morning groomers are just as fun on it as tracked-out afternoon slush. Its 75–75.5 mm waist is in the 66–80 mm range we suggest for mostly groomed Ontario runs.
Will it hold an edge on icy Ontario groomers?
Yes, for its level. Full camber (Active Camber) grips on icy slopes, and Atomic says its Titanal laminate (TI Powered), Dura Cap sidewall and wood core make it smooth and stable.
Does it come with bindings?
Yes. It comes with Atomic's M 10 GW binding (max DIN 10) on Atomic's Leisure Trak L system rail. Atomic calls the M 10 GW a simple, do-it-all binding with a consistent feel on or off the piste.
Will my boots fit the bindings? What does GW mean?
It takes standard adult alpine boots, and Atomic says the M 10 GW is easy to click into with GripWalk boots. GW means GripWalk: a rockered, rubber-treaded sole that makes walking easier.
What's its turn radius? What does Q mean?
The turn radius is 12.7 m at 147 cm and 13.5 m at 154 cm. Q is Atomic's all-conditions piste line, with a multi-radius sidecut.
What do Redster and Q5 mean?
Redster is Atomic's piste and race family. Atomic uses S for slalom (tight turns), G for giant slalom (wide turns), X for a multi-radius sidecut and Q for its one-ski-for-all-conditions piste line. M 10 GW is the binding (GW = GripWalk).
Is it a men's or women's ski?
It's a unisex ski: Atomic lists it as unisex, so pick by length. We carry 147 and 154 cm.
Do you mount the bindings? Do I need to bring my boots?
Yes, free and the same day at Richmond Hill and Ottawa. We set the bindings to your boots, so bring yours or buy boots with the skis; you check and sign off on the setup in store. Skis we ship go out unmounted.
Does it have rocker or camber?
Full camber: Atomic's Active Camber (0/100/0), which increases edge contact for better edge grip on icy slopes and stability.
What warranty does it have?
Atomic gives a 2-year warranty on this ski. If something goes wrong, contact us with your order details.
