How bright is it?

It is a candle-glow lantern for the table, not a work light. Warm real flame behind borosilicate glass, adjustable with the regulator valve.

What fuel?

The same screw-on isobutane canister as your backpacking stove. No ignition built in; light it with a lighter.

Can I use it inside the tent?

No. It is an open flame: table and porch only.

How does it compare with an LED lantern?

LED is safer, brighter and dimmable; this gives you what LED cannot, a real flame and a little heat on the table, at 140 g. Most people run both: LED in the tent, this on the table.
