Enough insulation for spring to fall ground on its own. For October and under an air bed, choose the thicker R 2.5 version or stack two.

Foil up, toward you: it reflects body heat back and keeps the foam dry.

Accordion fold to 56 × 15 × 13 cm, 400 g. It rides outside a backpack under the straps.

It cannot puncture and needs no inflating. An inflatable pad is thicker and more comfortable for side sleepers. Most backpackers carry this under the inflatable for insurance.
