Description

Features

A six-person quick-open cabin tent: pop the frame, stake it, done, by one person. Blackout TiBLACK fabric keeps mornings dark and afternoons cooler.

Key facts

  • 395 × 270 cm floor, 183 cm standing height; 4 to 6 with cots or a Queen air bed
  • 150D TiBLACK Oxford: 2,000 mm fly, 3,000 mm floor, blocks 99.9% UV
  • Wind-tunnel tested to 54 km/h gusts when fully guyed
  • 4 windows, 1 door, 3-season
  • 23.8 kg, packed 110 × 25 × 30 cm

Why this one

  • Minutes to pitch, solo: no pole threading.
  • Sleep past sunrise: the blackout coating is the difference on a family trip.
  • Tested in wind, not only claimed.

Good to know

Guy every line; a cabin tent's flat walls catch wind. The bag lies across a back seat or any SUV trunk; lifting it out of the car is the hard part, not the pitching.

FAQ

Questions & answers

Can one person set it up?

Yes. Unfold, pop the frame, stake it: no pole threading. The bag is heavy, so lifting it out of the car is the hard part, not the pitching.

How many people really fit?

395 × 270 cm floor, 183 cm standing height. Four to six people with cots or a Queen air bed is realistic; the "13" is a model name, not a headcount.

What does the blackout coating do?

The TiBLACK layer blocks 99.9% of UV, so the tent stays dark after sunrise and noticeably cooler in the afternoon. Kids sleep in, adults get a lie-in.

Rain and wind?

2,000 mm fly, 3,000 mm floor, and it has been wind-tunnel tested to 54 km/h gusts when fully guyed. Guy every line: the big flat walls catch wind if you skip them.

Will the bag fit in my car?

Packed size is 110 × 25 × 30 cm. It lies across the back seat or the trunk of any SUV; in a compact car fold a seat down.

How does it compare with a tunnel tent like the LS 4?

The Village 13 is up in minutes by one person and stays dark in the morning; the LS 4 gives you a separate living room but takes two people and longer to pitch. For weekend trips with kids, quick-open wins.
