POC gives it a thicker polycarbonate shell for more durability, plus an NFC Medical ID chip and a RECCO reflector for backcountry use.
You can store essential medical information on the NFC chip for rescuers to access quickly, and the RECCO reflector can be picked up by rescue teams with RECCO detectors. Neither replaces an avalanche transceiver.
Sizes go by head circumference: XS-S 51–54 cm, M-L 55–58 cm, XL-XXL 59–62 cm. Measure just above your eyebrows and pick the range you fall in.
Yes. MIPS is designed to help reduce rotational forces in angled impacts, ventilation is adjustable, and the ear pads are removable. It's built to pair with POC goggles.
You can return or exchange it within 14 days of delivery (14 days of purchase in store) if it's unused and brand new, in its original packaging with all tags and accessories.
