What length should I get?

Yes. It comes with Elan's EL 9.0 GW binding (DIN 2.5–9) on Elan's built-in binding rail.
Will my boots fit the bindings? What does GW mean?
The EL 9.0 GW takes standard alpine and GripWalk boot soles. GW means GripWalk: a rockered, rubber-treaded sole that makes walking easier.
Is it a short-turn or long-turn ski?
Medium turns. Its turn radius grows with length: 12.4 m at 152 cm, 13.9 m at 160 cm and 15.4 m at 168 cm, between a short-turn slalom ski and a long-turn GS-style ski of the same length.
What do 74, W and EL 9.0 mean?
74 is the waist width in mm (122/74/103). W marks Elan's women's version. EL 9.0 is the binding, with DIN up to 9, and GW means it takes GripWalk boot soles.
Is the W version different from the regular Element 74?
On Elan's spec sheets the Element 74 W has the same 122/74/103 mm shape and turn radius as the Element 74. It's the women's version with its own graphics; we carry it in 140 to 168 cm.
Is it stiff or soft?
Soft and forgiving. Elan describes it as light and forgiving, made for building skills.
Do you mount the bindings? Do I need to bring my boots?
Yes, free and the same day at Richmond Hill and Ottawa. We set the bindings to your boots, so bring yours or buy boots with the skis; you check and sign off on the setup in store. Skis we ship go out unmounted.
What warranty does it have?
Elan gives a 2-year warranty on this ski. If something goes wrong, contact us with your order details.
