Borderline fittersOur Find my length tool starts from your height: advanced skiers about 3 cm under their height and experts about 2 cm over; plus 4 cm if you're heavier than most people your height, minus 4 if lighter; minus 5 more if you mostly ski the park. Studio 0 Pro
The Faction Studio 0 Pro is a halfpipe ski: the narrowest model in Faction's premium Studio series, built specifically for pipe skiing. Faction rates it for advanced and expert skiers and lists its terrain as park and pipe.
Faction engineered it for the G-forces and off-centre landings of the pipe and for competition durability, with a symmetrical twin shape that makes switch skiing easy and a 7 mm XL sidewall that protects the core and holds an edge.

What length should I get?

No, it's sold flat (ski only), so you choose the binding. Pick one whose brake is at least as wide as the 83 mm waist.
Will my boots fit? What does GW mean?
That depends on the binding you add. For GripWalk boots, choose a binding marked GW (GripWalk-compatible); standard alpine boots fit any alpine binding.
What does Studio 0 mean?
Studio is Faction's premium ski series, running from high-level park skiing through all-mountain to competitive freeride; its XX artwork marks Faction's 20th anniversary. Faction says the higher the number, the wider the ski: the Studio 0 Pro is 83 mm and built for the halfpipe, the Studio 1 is 90 mm for the terrain park.
Is it stiff or soft?
Faction rates the flex 7 out of 10 and pitches it as a stiffer ski, with carbon stringers for torsional strength without the bulk. Its Boat Flex has stiffer tips and tails that settle the ski and absorb landings, with a touch more flex underfoot so it loads up and pops.
Can you mount bindings on them? Do I need my boots?
Yes, when you buy bindings with them: mounting is then free and the same day at Richmond Hill and Ottawa. We set the bindings to your boots, so bring yours or buy boots with the skis; you check and sign off on the setup in store. Skis we ship go out unmounted.
Does it have rocker or camber?
Subtle tip and tail rocker with pronounced camber (about 4 mm, per Faction's spec sheet), for precision and edge hold. Its symmetrical twin shape makes switch skiing effortless, and carbon and rubber under the binding handles heavy stomps.
Where should the bindings be mounted?
Faction gives a Newschool mount point for it, with a 4.1 x 9 mm drill size.
