Mobi Garden's floor plan puts three sleeping bags side by side on the 210 × 180 cm inner floor, so three fit, snugly if everyone is on a wide pad; two get room to spare. Packs and boots go in the vestibules, one outside each door, about 50 cm deep.

Mobi Garden lists 3.26 kg on its spec sheet and 2.90 kg on the carry bag in its manual, and the bag measures 41 × 17 × 17 cm. That is a weekend-backpacking weight, not an ultralight one: if two of you share it, one can carry the poles and pegs.

Yes, in the middle: the peak is 120 cm, enough to sit up and change, with the walls sloping down toward the doors. It is a tent to sleep in, not to stand in.

It is a freestanding dome. Slide the two crossing poles through the sleeves on the inner tent, seat the pole ends in the rings at the corners, then drape the fly over and buckle it to the corners. Stake it once it is where you want it, and practise once at home before the first trip.

For three-season weather, yes. The fly is rated PU 2,000 mm with taped seams and the bathtub floor PU 4,000 mm. Mobi Garden rates the tent for Force 7 winds on the Beaufort scale; in wind, stake every corner and guy out all four sides. Two guy ropes come in the box, so bring two more.

Dry it completely before you store it, even after a dry night, because condensation collects on the fly. Store it loose in a cool, dry place rather than compressed in its bag, wipe the floor clean and leave the zippers open until they are dry.
