About

Cloud C7 + M 10 GW

The entry point to Atomic's Cloud women's piste skis, made for linking your first turns and progressing to steeper runs. A good first pair of your own if you've been renting, or the step up for a junior moving into adult skis. 68–69.5 mm underfoot, with a 12.5–14 m radius, across the lengths we carry.

It's built light and easy: a Densolite core (an agile foam that damps vibration), a lightweight V-shaped body, Piste Rocker in the tip for easy turn starts and Dura Cap sidewalls for grip on the groomers. The same ski comes in white (this one) or black.

Key features

  • V-shape body — a light shape that makes turning easy
  • Densolite Core — an agile foam core that damps vibration for effortless skiing

Questions

Asked in store, answered by our fitters

What length should I get?

Our Find my length tool starts from your height: beginners about 15 cm under their height and intermediates about 8 cm under; plus 4 cm if you're heavier than most people your height, minus 4 if lighter; minus 3 more if you mostly carve. Example: a beginner skier 160 cm tall gets about 145 cm, so the 145. We carry 139, 145, 151 and 157 cm.

Is this ski right for my level?

It's for beginners and intermediates. Atomic made it for confident days on the piste, whether you're linking your first turns or progressing to steeper terrain.

Cloud C7, Q8 or C11: which one?

C7: the entry point to Atomic's women's piste skis, with a light Densolite core and Piste Rocker, 68–70 mm underfoot; for first turns up to steeper runs. Q8: the wider all-conditions shape (74.5–76 mm) with a Densolite core; Atomic made it for beginners and intermediates. C11: Revoshock Light damping, a Light Woodcore and a Titanal layer (TI Powered), 72 mm; the most grip and the smoothest ride of the three.

Is it for groomers, all-mountain or powder?

Groomed runs. Cloud is Atomic's women's piste line, made to be stable and easy to control on groomers. Its 68–69.5 mm waist is in the 66–80 mm range we suggest for mostly groomed Ontario runs.

Will it hold an edge on icy Ontario groomers?

Its Piste Rocker uses camber for precise edge grip with a slight early rise in the tip for easy turn starts. It's built light around a Densolite foam core, so it's easy to control rather than a hard-ice race ski.

Does it come with bindings?

Yes. It comes with Atomic's M 10 GW binding (max DIN 10) on Atomic's Leisure Trak M system rail. Atomic calls the M 10 GW a simple, do-it-all binding with a consistent feel on or off the piste.

Will my boots fit the bindings? What does GW mean?

It takes standard adult alpine boots, and Atomic says the M 10 GW is easy to click into with GripWalk boots. GW means GripWalk: a rockered, rubber-treaded sole that makes walking easier.

What's its turn radius?

The turn radius runs from 12.5 m at 139 cm to 14 m at 157 cm.

What do Cloud, C7 and White mean?

Cloud is Atomic's women's piste line and C7 is the model within it. White is the colour: Atomic makes the C7 in black or white. M 10 GW is the binding, and GW means it takes GripWalk boot soles.

Is it a women's ski?

Yes, Cloud is Atomic's women's piste line. Anyone can ski it if the length fits: we carry 139, 145, 151 and 157 cm.

Do you mount the bindings? Do I need to bring my boots?

Yes, free and the same day at Richmond Hill and Ottawa. We set the bindings to your boots, so bring yours or buy boots with the skis; you check and sign off on the setup in store. Skis we ship go out unmounted.

Does it have rocker or camber?

Atomic's Piste Rocker (10/90/0): camber for precise edge grip, with a slight early rise in the tip for easy turn starts and stability.
