About

Hawx Kids 2

The Hawx Kids 2 is the smallest Hawx junior boot we carry, made for children taking their first turns. Two buckles and a soft flex tuned for small children make it easy to get on and off. It has Atomic's 98 mm junior last and a listed flex of 45; we carry Mondopoint 18/18.5 to 20/20.5.

Atomic says it keeps toes warm so kids can stay out as long as they like, and the Team Bronze liner fits from the start. The Kids 3 (21/21.5 to 23/23.5 here) adds a third buckle.

Key features

  • Junior Performance Shell — a smooth, proper flex for lighter skiers, reinforced for stability

Questions

Asked in store, answered by our fitters

What sizes does the Hawx Kids 2 come in?

The smallest Hawx sizes: 18/18.5, 19/19.5 and 20/20.5 Mondopoint (foot length in cm). Measure your child's foot heel to longest toe and pick the option that includes it; a boot that's too big is harder to ski in.

How many buckles does it have?

Two, which keeps getting in and out simple for small kids. It has a soft flex (listed at 45), a PP shell and cuff and the Team Bronze liner.

Which bindings work with this boot?

It has RTJ Junior grip pads on an Alpine ISO 5355 sole, and Atomic lists its binding compatibility as children's (junior) bindings. Have the binding set up for the boot and your child before skiing.

What warranty does it come with?

It is covered by Borderline Outdoor's 1-year warranty. If something goes wrong, contact us or visit any of our stores with your order details.
