About

Hawx Kids 4

The Hawx Kids 4 is the four-buckle boot in Atomic's Hawx junior range, with plenty of power and tuned for ambitious young skiers. It has a 55 flex on Atomic's 98 mm junior last; we carry Mondopoint 23/23.5 to 25/25.5.

Like all Atomic junior boots it has a progressive flex and cuff design, which Atomic says helps balance and technique develop. Easy buckles and a 30 mm Velcro power strap give support all day. The Kids 3 is the three-buckle model below it.

  • Junior Performance Shell — a smooth, proper flex for lighter skiers, reinforced for stability

Questions

Asked in store, answered by our fitters

How do I size ski boots for my child?

Measure your child's foot in cm, heel to longest toe; that's the Mondopoint size. The Hawx Kids 4 comes in 23/23.5, 24/24.5 and 25/25.5. A boot that's too big makes the ski hard to control, so fit for now rather than a size to grow into.

Is the flex suitable for a young skier?

Flex 55 is soft enough to let a child steer the ski instead of being levered around by it. It has four buckles, a PP shell and cuff, and the Team Silver liner.

Which bindings work with this boot?

The Hawx Kids 4 uses a 98 mm junior last. It has an Alpine ISO 5355 sole, which fits standard alpine bindings made for that norm. Have the binding set up for the boot and your child before skiing.

Can I return or exchange these boots?

Returns and exchanges are accepted within 14 days of delivery (14 days of purchase for in-store orders) if the boots are unused, new and in the original packaging with tags and accessories. Use our online returns portal, or bring them and your order details to any of our stores.

What warranty does it come with?

It is covered by Borderline Outdoor's 1-year warranty. If something goes wrong, contact us or visit any of our stores with your order details.
