How much shade does it give?

520 × 450 cm, over 20 m² with the side wings: a table for six to eight plus chairs. Silver coating and UPF 50+, so it is genuinely cooler underneath, not just shaded.

Are poles and pegs included?

Yes, poles are in the bag, plus guylines and pegs. Packed 65 × 14 × 14 cm.

Does it keep rain off?

2,000 mm coating. Pitch one side lower than the other so rain runs off instead of pooling.

How many people to set it up?

Two is comfortable: one holds a pole while the other tensions the guyline. Ten minutes once you know the sequence.

How does it compare with the Cloud Skies Tarp Lite?

Bigger and heavier, with a silver coating that blocks heat as well as light. The Tarp Lite is lighter and smaller: two to four people (Medium) or four to six (Large). Family basecamp: Firmament. Couple's weekend: Tarp Lite.
