About
Pioneer 3 Access MIPS
The Pioneer 3 Access is where Salomon puts MIPS into a helmet most people will actually buy. MIPS is a low-friction layer between the liner and the shell; in an angled impact — which is most of them — it lets the shell slide a few millimetres instead of transmitting that twist straight to your head.
Beyond that it is deliberately straightforward: adjustable fit dial, adjustable venting, a goggle strap clip at the back. Four sizes from S to XL, so there is room to fit it properly rather than settling for the size the shop has left.
Key features

- Just-right fit — The Custom Dial system lets you fine-tune the fit in seconds, ensuring your helmet stays snug and comfortable all day long.
