Description

Features

An air bed with the pump built in: one button inflates it in about two minutes, the other deflates it flat. 38 cm high sleeps like a real bed and is easy to get up from; the 25 cm version is lighter and lower. Camping, guests at home, the cottage.

Key facts

  • 38 cm: Single 190 × 100, Queen 198 × 152, King RV 200 × 180 cm
  • 25 cm: 200 × 100, 200 × 150, 200 × 180 cm
  • Built-in rechargeable pump, USB-C charging
  • Flocked top, PVC body
  • 38 cm: 4.6 / 6.3 / 7.9 kg · 25 cm: 2.9 / 4.3 / 5.2 kg

Why this one

  • No pump to pack or forget, and no power needed at the site.
  • Guest-bed height, so it earns its place at home too.
  • Deflates on its own; you just fold and bag it.

Good to know

Air beds sleep cool once nights drop below about 10 °C: put a foam mat or blanket on top from late September. New beds feel softer the first two nights as the material stretches; that is not a leak.

FAQ

Questions & answers

How does the pump work, and do I need power at the campsite?

The pump is built into the mattress and runs on its own rechargeable battery (USB-C). Charge it at home, press one button to inflate (about two minutes), the other to deflate. Nothing to plug in at the site.

38 cm or 25 cm?

38 cm sleeps like a real bed and you stand up from it without pushing off the floor: the one for guests at home and for anyone with a bad back. 25 cm is lighter and lower, better in a small tent and easier to carry.

Will it fit in my tent?

In the 38 cm height, Single is 190 × 100 cm, Queen 198 × 152 cm and King RV 200 × 180 cm; the 25 cm version runs 200 × 100, 200 × 150 and 200 × 180 cm. Queen fits two across in most family tents; King RV needs a large or cabin tent.

Is it cold to sleep on?

All air beds are once nights drop below about 10 °C, because the air inside cools. From late September put a foam egg-nest mat or a blanket on top and you are fine.

Does it lose air overnight?

New air beds feel softer the first two nights as the material stretches; that is not a leak. Top up in the morning if the temperature dropped a lot. From the third night it stays firm.

How does it compare with a self-inflating pad or a cot?

Against a self-inflating pad: 38 cm high instead of a few centimetres, a real bed feel, and it doubles as a guest bed at home, but it is heavier (2.9 to 7.9 kg depending on size) and needs a mat on top in cold weather. Against a cot: no assembly, softer, and it packs smaller, but a cot never needs air. If you drive to the site and want to sleep like at home, this is the one.
