About

Naturehike Cloud Skies Octagonal Large Tarp Lite (2026)

A 680 × 575 cm octagonal blackout tarp with poles included: two tables and ten people under one roof, and genuinely cooler and darker underneath than a plain tarp. The family-camp roof.

Key facts

  • 680 × 575 cm octagon
  • Titanium-coated blackout Oxford, heavily waterproof-coated
  • Poles, guylines and pegs included
  • 10.9 kg, packs to about 78 × 19 × 19 cm

Why this one

  • The biggest shade in our range: a whole group under one roof.
  • Blackout coating blocks heat and light, not just rain.
  • Everything included, one bag.

Good to know

Two adults to pitch, three is easier; it is heavy. Pitch with a slope so rain runs off, and take it down in strong wind. For a couple, the Tarp Lite; for six to eight, the Firmament 520.

Questions

Asked in store, answered by our fitters

How big is it?

680 × 575 cm: two tables, ten people, or a whole family camp under one roof. Poles included.

How heavy and how many to pitch it?

10.9 kg; two adults, three is easier. Peg the corners, raise the poles one at a time, tension the lines.

What is the titanium blackout coating for?

It blocks light and heat, so the shade underneath is genuinely cooler and darker than under a plain tarp.

Rain?

Heavily coated Oxford; pitch it with a slope and it sheds a storm. Drop it in strong wind.

How does it compare with the Firmament 520 and the Tarp Lite?

Biggest of the three, and the one with the blackout coating. Firmament for six to eight, Tarp Lite for a couple. If your group is ten, this is the only one that covers it.
