Vector is a Chinese brand with a simple brief: technical ski and snow wear for women and families that fits and looks right. Its team is led by women, the cuts follow Asian women’s proportions with 3D draping, and each season’s colours come in themes: Snow, Aqua, Sunset and Heat.
Vector’s 3-layer AltaX, Strider and Aeris shells are rated at 20,000 mm waterproof and 10,000 g breathable, with fully taped seams, and the AltaX and Strider jackets add 80 g PrimaLoft Black insulation. The whole skiwear line uses a fluorine-free “C0” water-repellent finish. The house fabrics are VECTECH for all-mountain, VECSHELL for backcountry and VECLAB, a stretch 3-layer, for the park.
Vector’s kids’ range is sized by height, from 110 to 160 cm. The Emote and Colorcube pieces are insulated with DuPont Sorona, a bio-based fill, and the Colorcube suit and bibs use Smartgrow, which lets sleeves and legs be lengthened as your child grows.

Questions
Asked in store, answered by our fitters
How does Vector sizing run?
Vector uses Chinese sizes (a jacket L is 175/92A) and cuts for Asian proportions, so it can run shorter and slimmer than Western brands. Its own guide works from height and weight and suggests sizing down in oversized styles; kids’ sizes go by height, from 110 to 160 cm.
How do I wash Vector outerwear?
Below 30 °C with a mild, neutral detergent, and no softener, bleach or dry-cleaning. When water stops beading on the face, re-spray a water-repellent finish.
Which Vector jacket is warmest?
The AltaX and Strider: 3-layer shells with 80 g PrimaLoft Black insulation and taped seams. On milder days, the Blaze PrimaLoft mid-layer works under any shell.
