Which Oakley is for you
A low-profile, skate-style helmet with MIPS and a BOA dial (Oakley’s Skull Matrix), a dent-resistant Dura-Matter shell, a Fidlock magnetic buckle and a washable liner. Ours is the Asia Fit MOD1 Pro.
A helmet with its own Prizm goggle: Secure-Connect holds it magnetically and mechanically, riding or stowed, so there is no goggle gap. MIPS, a BOA dial and a Polartec liner inside.
Cylindrical Prizm lenses set close to the face for more downward and side vision, with frame notches for most prescription glasses. The Line Miner Pro adds a magnetic Switchlock lens change and comes with two lenses.
A conical lens with more than 60% more field of view than the Line Miner L, 3D face foam and two Prizm lenses in the box. Ours is the Asia Fit version.
The O Frame 2.0 Pro S is the small-fit successor to the original O Frame, with a 35 mm strap and room for most prescription glasses. Its lenses are standard, not Prizm.
Oakley MOD1 Pro (Asia Fit)
It puts MIPS and a BOA dial, a dent-resistant shell and a washable liner into a low-profile helmet certified to ASTM F2040 and EN 1077. Oakley designed the Asia Fit shell from scratch rather than scaling the standard one, so try it on: it fits differently from a standard helmet.

Jim Jannard started Oakley in his California garage in 1975, and the brand turned 50 in 2025; it is still based in Foothill Ranch, California. Its first goggle, the O Frame, arrived in 1980, and it has made ski goggles since 1983. Luxottica bought Oakley in 2007, and it is now part of EssilorLuxottica.
Prizm Snow lenses are tuned for contrast, so you can read the snow’s texture in sun and in shade, and Plutonite lens material blocks 100% of UVA, UVB and UVC. The helmets use Skull Matrix, MIPS and a BOA dial in one system, and the MOD7 locks its own Prizm goggle on with Secure-Connect. Both of our Oakley helmets are certified to ASTM F2040 and EN 1077.
Oakley’s FW26 signature riders include Mikaela Shiffrin and Su Yiming, whose signature Line Miner pairs a tortoise frame with a Prizm 24K lens. Oakley calls Su the first Chinese snowboarder to win Olympic gold, in big air at Beijing 2022. We ordered his goggle as the Line Miner L in Brown Tortoise.

Questions
Asked in store, answered by our fitters
How do I size an Oakley helmet?
Measure around your head about 2.5 cm above the eyebrows, at the widest point. The MOD1 Pro Asia Fit runs S 53–57, M 57–61 and L 61–65 cm; the MOD7 runs S 51–55, M 55–59 and L 59–63 cm. It should feel snug without moving; fine-tune with the dial.
What does Asia Fit mean?
For helmets, Oakley designed the Asia Fit shell on its own rather than scaling the standard one. For goggles, it means a lower nose bridge for flatter nose bridges. Try both fits if you can; the right one leaves no gaps.
Which Prizm lens should I choose?
Our two-lens goggles pair a bright-light lens (Sapphire, Torch, Argon or Black) with a low-light lens (Iced, Clear or Persimmon), so one box covers bluebird days, flat light and night skiing.
