Which Atomic is for you
Race-bred piste skis with full camber and titanal for grip on ice. X turns any shape, Q handles all conditions, S makes short turns and G long ones; the J2 is the junior version.
Atomic’s women’s piste skis: the Q8 for beginners and intermediates, the light C7, and the C11 and C14 with Revoshock damping to smooth out chatter.
Easy, stable all-mountain skis. The Maverick 84 is 84 mm underfoot with a light wood core and a titanal stabilizer; the Maverick J brings it to kids, with a soft zone underfoot so light skiers can bend it.
Freeskis for the park and off-piste: the Bent 90 and Bent 100 have rockered tips and tails for float and thick edges built to take park abuse.
Three volumes in one boot line: Ultra (98 mm, low), Prime (100 mm, medium) and Magna (102 mm, high). Most adult models have Memory Fit, so the shell and cuff can be heat-reshaped to your foot.
Atomic Redster Q6
Full camber, a full titanal layer and an ash and poplar core are all aimed at hard snow, so it grips on icy Ontario groomers. At about 80 mm underfoot with a multi-radius shape it also handles short hills and western groomers, which is why Atomic calls it a one-ski quiver.

Alois Rohrmoser built the first 40 pairs of Atomic skis by hand in 1955, in the Pongau region of Salzburg, Austria. Atomic still designs, prototypes and tests at Altenmarkt im Pongau, and has raced on the FIS World Cup without a break since the 1960s; Hermann Maier and Mikaela Shiffrin both won multiple overall titles on its skis. At the 2025 World Championships in Saalbach, its athletes won seven medals on Redster skis.
Revoshock is Atomic’s damping system: it soaks up chatter and ruts, tuned for stability (S), quick edge changes (C) or forgiveness (Light). Active Camber keeps the whole edge on hard snow, and a titanal layer adds torsional stiffness. In the boots, Prolite builds a light shell with reinforced zones and Memory Fit lets the shell and cuff be heat-reshaped. The Strive bindings use a low LDN toe that puts the boot closer to the ski.
In September 2023 Atomic hosted the first Ski Industry Climate Summit in Salzburg, with FESI and Protect Our Winters, and more than 100 participants signed up, including Salomon, Rossignol and Head. Atomic now publishes a yearly impact statement. It has been part of Amer Sports since 1994; our Redster G9, S8, X7 and Cloud C14 are made in Austria, the other Atomic skis in Bulgaria.

Questions
Asked in store, answered by our fitters
Hawx Ultra, Prime or Magna?
It depends on foot volume. Ultra is the low-volume fit (98 mm last), Prime medium (100 mm) and Magna high-volume (102 mm), measured at size 26/26.5; the widths grow with size. A fitter measures your foot length and width and checks heel hold before you choose.
How long should my Atomic skis be?
Atomic’s rule of thumb is between your chin and the top of your head. For all-mountain skis start at your height, then go 5–10 cm shorter for groomers and tight terrain, or 5–10 cm longer for soft snow and open runs. Park skis run 5–15 cm shorter than your height.
Do Atomic skis come with bindings?
Most of ours are sets with the binding included (M 10 GW, MI 12 GW or I 12 GW; C 5 GW or L 6 GW on junior skis). The Bent skis are sold flat: pair them with a Strive 12 GW, which takes adult alpine and GripWalk soles.
