Fischer, fitted and set up at Richmond Hill and Ottawa
Which Fischer is for you
Fischer’s precision line for groomers, with race sidewalls and titanal cut to the ski’s shape. The RC4 ST carves short turns at 68 mm underfoot; Noize models add printed metal pigments for a quieter ride.
Versatile piste skis with World Cup technology for intermediate to advanced skiers: three radii in one ski and a light two-part plate. Widths run 70 to 76 mm, and the GT 76 adds on-piste rocker.
Freeride and all-mountain skis with Freeski Rocker for easy turn entry. The Ranger 84 is titanal-reinforced for grip on firm snow; the 90 to 102 add shaped titanal and Flex Cut, and the Ranger Jr is for kids.
New boots for 26/27 with a wide fit, an easy-entry flap and a calf adapter, closed with BOA or buckles: the Premio 90 and 110 BOA for men and the 75 and 95 BOA for women.
Fischer Ranger 84
An 84–85 mm waist, Freeski Rocker and a sandwich sidewall give it the on-piste grip Fischer claims for firm Ontario groomers, while it stays wide enough for a trip west. Its titanal is recycled, part of Fischer’s push on materials.

See the ski
Fischer dates itself to 1924 and is still family-run, from its home in Ried im Innkreis, Upper Austria. It builds in Ried and in Mukachevo, Ukraine, and says most of its products are made in Europe. Its RACE CODE label marks gear that comes out of the race department, and The Curv, now in its third generation, carries World Cup technology for intermediate and advanced skiers.
Fischer’s Vacuum shells are moulded to the foot on Fischer’s own Vacuum machine and can adapt by up to 3 mm either way; our stores do not have that machine. Scan-Fit lasts come from foot-scan data: LV 98 mm, MV 100 mm and HV 102 mm. On the skis, Shaped Ti cuts the titanal to the ski’s outline for grip, The Curv uses three radii in one ski, and the Ranger’s Freeski Rocker and Flex Cut make it easy to turn.
Fischer’s plant in Ried runs on 100% renewable electricity, about 6,000 MWh a year, plus geothermal heat, and it won the Energy Globe Award in 2001. The edges contain 20–25% recycled steel, and the Ranger uses 80% recycled titanal and topsheets that are 50% bio-based.

Questions
Asked in store, answered by our fitters
What is a Fischer Vacuum fit?
Fischer’s Vacuum shells are moulded to the foot on Fischer’s own Vacuum machine, and the shell width can change by up to 3 mm either way. Our stores do not have the machine, so we do not offer Vacuum fitting; Richmond Hill and Ottawa fit Fischer boots for size and width like any other boot.
LV, MV or HV?
They are Fischer’s last widths at size 26.5: LV 98 mm for narrow feet, MV 100 mm for average feet and HV 102 mm for wide feet. A fitter measures your foot and checks heel hold before you choose.
What warranty does Fischer give?
Fischer doesn’t publish a fixed warranty term; claims go through the store you bought from, so keep your receipt and bring the item back to us.
