Which Salomon is for you
All-mountain sets for Ontario snow: 78 to 84 mm underfoot, a titanal layer for grip on hard pack, bindings included. Rated from beginner to advanced, with women’s versions in 80 and 84.
Salomon’s freeride line. The QST 94 bridges all-mountain and freeride; the QST 100 is the most playful. Full poplar core and cork in the tip to calm vibration, sold flat for the binding you choose.
For skiers who live on groomers: 72 mm underfoot, titanal above and below the core, and a slightly softer tail that finishes each turn smoothly. Rated for advanced skiers.
One boot line, three widths: Alpha 98 mm, Supra 100 mm, Delta 102 mm. Most models have a Custom Shell HD shell that can be heat-shaped in about ten minutes, and every adult S/Pro has a GripWalk sole.
Junior all-mountain sets with the binding included, in ski lengths from 70 to 150 cm. Pair them with the T2 RT or Team T3 junior boots.
Salomon E Stance 84 R
It is 84 mm underfoot with a titanal layer and full sandwich sidewalls, so it holds an edge on icy Ontario groomers. Tip and tail rocker and a rating that starts at intermediate make it just as easy on a trip west.

Photo: Matt Georges / SalomonSalomon was founded in 1947 in Annecy, in the French Alps, and still designs its gear there, at the Annecy Design Center. It has been part of Amer Sports since 2005, alongside Atomic. The products travel: according to Salomon’s own product data, our Salomon skis are made in Austria and Bulgaria, and the S/Pro boots and Strive bindings in Romania.
Most of our Salomon skis put titanal, a thin aluminium alloy, over a wood core for grip and stability on hard snow: one sheet in the Stance, two in the Addikt and in the Equipe SL race ski, which adds cork inlays to soak up vibration. The QST skis put cork in the tip to keep a light ski calm in chopped snow. Strive bindings use a low LDN toe that keeps your boot close to the ski.
Salomon’s S/Pro boots come in three widths: Alpha at 98 mm for narrow feet, Supra at 100 mm for average feet and Delta at 102 mm for wide feet. Most models have a Custom Shell HD lower shell that can be heat-shaped to your foot in about ten minutes, and BOA versions wrap the lower shell with a dial-tightened lace. The Delta adds a calf adjuster and an easier step-in.

Questions
Asked in store, answered by our fitters
Which Salomon ski should I choose?
For most Ontario skiers, a Stance: 78 to 84 mm underfoot, grippy on hard snow and easy to turn. Choose the E Addikt if you only ski groomers and like speed, or a QST if more of your days are out west or off-piste.
How do I pick my S/Pro boot size?
S/Pro boots are sized in mondopoint, your foot length in centimetres: men’s from 24 to 31.5, women’s from 22 to 27.5. Measure your longer foot, then try the width that matches it (Alpha, Supra or Delta) with a fitter checking heel hold and toe room.
Will my boots fit the Strive binding?
Strive GW bindings take adult GripWalk soles, which every adult S/Pro boot has, and adjust to them automatically. Touring and WTR soles need an MN binding. Bring your boots when your skis are mounted so the binding can be set to your sole.
